Ohana invites actors to audition for our upcoming mainstage shows. We are seeking talented performers of all ages, genders, and abilities.
Non-AEA. All performers are volunteers.

SYNOPSIS
Based on the real-life Newsboy Strike of 1899 and set in New York City, Newsies is the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a ragged band of "newsies," who dreams only of a better life far from the hardship of the streets. But when publishing titans Joseph Pulitzer and William Randolph Hearst raise distribution prices at the newsboys’ expense, Jack finds a cause to fight for and rallies newsies from across the city to strike for what’s right.

DANCE AUDITIONS WILL BE HELD MARCH 21, 2026 FROM 2 - 6:30 P.M.
MUSIC/SCRIPT READINGS WILL BE HELD MARCH 22, 2026 FROM 6:30 - 10:00 P.M.
Callbacks will be held on the evening of March 29th
Rehearsals will be Sundays - Thursdays starting the week of April 6, 2026.
All rehearsals will be at Ohana Studios 2954
